I was born in 1959 in Karlovy Vary when sun was in sign of Leo. I studied at secondary grammar school with science specialization in Vimperk and Hollar school of art in Prague. In 1978-1990 I worked as technical publisher and artist, from 1990 I tried to survive for nine years as freelance artist. At that time I cooperated with various publishing houses, renovaters, I was involved in renovation of Monument of Holocaust in Pinkas Synagogue in Prague. In last three years I worked at sci-fi publishing house and National Museum. Currently, I´ve been again freelance artist.

I deal mainly with painting, drawing, graphics, book and magazine illustrations, photograph.
My main interest is study of hermetism science, myths, fairy tales and archetype symbols which I apply at my work. My own dreams are big inspiration for me, I consider them to be my guides. I am interested, first of all, in mandala motives which I also notice during my trips abroad. In this sense I benefited most from expedition to Middle East (Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Greece) implemented in 1995.
I am vegetarian.



I started to deal with mandala creating in 1996 after returning from my
journey around Egypt. All paintings are painted on paper, [sololit] or
canvas by technique [tempera], sometimes combined with structures and oil
paints.
Mandala painting is for me something like travelling through inner universe,
realising hidden corners in my soul, and most importantly balancing its
controversial sides. It's also expressing message of dreams, with help of
which I realise symbols which emerge somewhere from depths and I revive
again the energy they bring by trying to express them. I capture emotional
experiences, thoughts and my longing for harmony by means of colour and
shape.
